Have you had problems reading text online? Do you read a lot of eBooks? Do you spend time sqeezing your eye to make out what those tiny letters in a corner denote?
eReader is an extension that Firfox offers to help you out. Thanks andman42!.
The eReader lets you easily scale the text size and adjust the reading width for comfortable viewing. It also has a primitive bookmark feature that remembers your place. Any site can be viewed inside the eReader, so it may be useful for things besides eBooks, like news sites. To toggle the eReader on and off, click the eReader toolbar button, select “eReader” from the View menu, or press F12.
Here is how to do it:
- Installed FireFox. You can download Firefox 1.5 here.
- Go to tools->extensions->get more extensions
- In the search bar type “eReader” and download and install the file(only 36kb)
Alternatively click here for the direct link.
The addon is good for site with extensive text. It is a must for people like me. Also check the eReader work in full screen mode i.e. press F11 and then F12. Note: Works only on Firefox: 0.9.x – 1.5.0.
