The techniques described there look simple, but are very powerful in use. Using those ten techniques you can yourself check the strength of security of your website/blog/page etc. Though the techniques are very basic, they are good for starters.

However it is not necessary that if you website complies to all the ten techniques, then it cant be hacked. But of course your website will be tough to maraud by hackers.

It is very interesting to see how much google knows about your webpage and its loop holes. What is more dangerous is the fact that any script kiddie can find loopholes in your website by simply applying these ten techniques on your website. So before the hacker does it, you better do it and fill in those loopholes.
