Here's some good news for fans of Linux and Google – Google has released a long awaited version of Picasa for Linux. Picasa is a simple picture organiser for your computer. On initial run, it locates and caches all pictures on your PC which you can later retrieve, organise and edit. It's got a nice, clean interface and integrates well with blogger and gmail/your mail client. Separate versions are available specific to each version of Linux.
