360 Degree Business Group is conducting Botix a 2-Day workshop for College Students that focuses on building robots from simple electronic components. It acts as a platform for students to gain working knowledge of electronics and robotics. Students get an hands on opportunity to design and build a variety of complex bots based on simple principles of electronics. At the end of 2 days, students would have build a number of interesting bots including – line following bots, obstacle avoiding bots, remotely activated bots, Etc

The Workshop Structure

Day 1

Session 1 – Duration: 1 Hour – Introduction to Robotics

Session 2 – Duration: 2 Hours – Basic Robot Construction

Session 3 – Duration: 1 Hour – Revisiting Electronics

Session 4 – Duration: 1 Hour – Robot Locomotion

Session 5 – Duration: 2 Hours – Sensors Overview & Construction

Day 2

Session 1 – Duration: 1 Hour – Common Transistors Overview

Session 2 – Duration: 1 Hour – LM555 Timer Overview and Usage

Session 3 – Duration: 2 Hours – Boolean Logic & Logic Gates

Session 4 – Duration: 1 Hour – OP Amps Overview and Usage

Session 5 – Duration: 2 Hours – Final Project Building & Competition
