Razz Mixer is the latest to join the zillion podcasting services available online. Though it might be late to join the band wagon, it certainly registers a good impression for its simplicity and feature.
Step 1:
Choose sounds by dragging them from the “more effects” drawer and dropping them onto the effects buttons.
Step 2:
Click record. Use your microphone to add a personal touch, mix in sound effects and background music.
Step 3:
Save your RAZZ and publish it to a web page (MySpace, Blogs, etc.)
Imagine podcasting without having to fumble with softwares like audocity and not going thro’ the pain of downloading some small audio clips to pep it up. Razz mixer has a huge collection of sound effects that you can use on the go while recording your podcast. You can also play a back ground music while recording and have supreme control over the mixing of the bgm, the audio and the sound effects.
You can get a free account where all your podcasts can be saved and a small html code is provided which you can embed in your myspace, blog and community pages.
Something that I found annoying was, that I couldn’t pause and re-record. Everytime I had to start from the beginning. Also, if I wanted to modify a section in the middle – not possible. But nevertheless this is a good effort. Plainly cauze, if I just wanted to add some audio to my blog, I wouldn’t have to record it in my comp and then edit it using some software and then upload it into a podcasting server and figure out the html code, all I would have to do is go to razz mixer and get it done in a minute.
RAZZ mobile is a fun tool which you can use to play some light hearted humor on your friends. The small software which when installed in your mobile phone, can be activated to inject weird noises during telephonic conversation. They also provide you with a few packages (insult, fart etc.)…
