Many of us think Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as abstract and time consuming process. In this article, you’d learn simple yet effective SEO tricks that work with Google. Use these tips to get your blog indexed and ranked by google for a particular keyword.
Over 70% of the search engine traffic is through Google and it makes sense if you have over 40+ keywords ranked in Page 1 of google. Getting your site to page 1 of google would increase your traffic by atleast 5 times.
But before you start of with these tricks, you need to have at least 40 posts on your blog. Once your blog post reach more than 40, Google recognizes you as a serious blogger.
Google Loves Blogs! they are fresh with different perspectives. Blogs get indexed faster than articles in Webpages. I’ve noticed my posts getting indexed in Google in half an hour, cuz of the fact that I blog regularly.
Do no over do it!
Before you start with a post, choose the keywords for which you would want to be indexed by Google. Use these keywords in the the title of the posts.
The keywords should be used in the first paragraph, within the first 25 words of the paragraph. Use the keyword in a natural manner in the content of the post but not more than 4%.
Incluse the keywords in the URL of the post, like http://www.blogname.com/keyword. This can be done both in the WordPress and Blogger.
If you are using a blogger account. then you cannot change the URL once the post is published. So, before you publish the post make sure you include the keywords in the URL of the post. You can then change the Title of the post, but make sure that keyword used in the title.
By doing so you tell Google “Hey! this is the Keyword for this post”. I used these simple tricks initially for getting ranked in Google, until I started to use 15 most under utilized SEO wordpress Plugins.
