It is not that the content of the articles is the factor for a good blog but you should know how to market your blog in a right sense.

Drawing traffic to the content is a difficult and irritating job on the internet. But if the traffic to your blog is increasing, then you can enjoy it. Here traffic means the number of visitors to a website or blog. The more traffic you get, the more chances of having a successful blog or website.

Getting the targeted traffic to your blog is through the search engines and this is the easiest way to get traffic. To get traffic through search engines, your blog should have a high ranking so that it will reach the top search results. You have to make your blog suitable for search engines so that the search engines can find your blog quickly. In this blog you can find many articles explaining search engine optimization and you can read them.

To get a targeted traffic to your blog, you have to comment on similar blogs that are related to your niche. You can check your competitor’s blog and leave a few comments which will not harm you. By posting comments on others blog, you will get more traffic from the readers of their blogs. Select around 10 popular blogs similar to your chosen niche and comment there regularly so that there is a chance of getting more traffic from other blogs.

Another method to increase traffic is to allow exchanging links on the blog under the links section. This makes the people to know that you are interested in linking which will allow traffic to your blog easily in Google and Technorati. You can also submit your blog to all the search engines which will take some time.
