Great List Guys!
We have used SNIPPET – and it’s a favourite. Using a customised variant of Snippet, we created a directory site that allows our clients to update (via log-in, twitter, posterous, ping.fm, facebook, SMS or email!) news, events, offers, updates and specials.
In this instance, deployed to the premium winery district of Australia’s Yarra Valley.
Features live updates with most recent post by client to top of home page.
We have found this is be a very servicable and customisable theme, albeit requiring a fast server environment.

e all must admit that wordpress themes have evolved tremendously since WordPress was first launched, with a set of diary-like templates. With more features, plugins and modules and ideas, WordPress has turned into the web’s most powerful CMS model. With millions of wordpress themes available free and for a fee, today it’s safe to say that there is nothing you cannot do with WordPress as a base platform!

If you have some bucks to spend, I highly recommend to buy one of the premium themes. They are much more powerful, flexible and have great support to answer your questions.
