Below is a comparison of a Samsung flip phone and a Nokia non-flip or ‘candy bar’ phone. The phones where bought at the same time and used over the period of one year. Use conditions were the same. After the year, it was obvious which was the better phone. Below are the results of a year of scratching, banging and dropping and how the phones handled it.

As easy as it may be to try and save money by not getting a cell phone cover, don’t. This plastic should be just thick enough to provide protection for the phone, but not so thick that it is hard to sew. First, measure the distance from the top most part of the phone screen to below the final row of keys. Next, measure the phone from the top part of the pnhone screen to over the very top part of your phone and just about 1/3 of the distance down the back portion.

You almost have to have a credit card. We can now charge an item and have the money taken directly from our checking and savings accounts. Credit cards give us easy money at the drop of a hat. It is interesting to note that of all of the new technology, only the cell phone as grown as quickly as the credit card.
